I study Computer Science and Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University.

My past is deeply rooted in discovering my passions for math, art, and service. Thus, I dedicate my present and future to creating smart, efficient, and usable technology to serve the users.

Projects to practice my skills or serve a greater issue tend to peak my interest...

Story Trails

A mobile app featuring customizable social stories intended to guide those on the autism spectrum through anxiety-inducing situations. Created with React Native and collaborated with the Autism Society of Pittsburgh.

Real-time Collaborative Tutors

A research experience in educational technology with the Human Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. Implemented a collaboration system that tutors middle school students in mathematics. Developed in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Break Down Tech

An interactive Quizlet-style platform to familiarize adults and seniors with the basics of mobile phones. Self-coded an AI algorithm and a decision tree to curate quiz questions on individual user's progress along with all other users. Implemented with Python and TkInter.

Doodle Jump Pro

Upgraded the classic Doodle Jump game by allowing hand movement detection. Now, with the accompaniment of LEAP Motion, players can utilize hand gestures to play the game. They are also offered the possibility to self-design their own game template. Developed with Python.

My experience with art, however, now lends itself to my budding interest in human computer interaction...

Glimpses; Transitions in Time

For two years, I spent my time capturing the beauty in fleeting moments that tend to fly by us. These millisecond moments, should push us all to live in the present.

Portraits

My fascination with self-portraits stemmed from the challenge of the technical difficulties of creating portraits, but grew to become a source of reflection.

Figures

My fluency and comfort with portraits paved the path to my interest in figure drawing. I aspired to learn the intricate shapes and movements that form human figures.

Miscellaneous

This collection of artworks contains those created for competitions, as a result of homework assignments, gifts for friends and family, or simply for practice and fun.

Lastly, I've been granted the privileges to learn and grow; I attempt to forward these privileges to society through service...

Miles for Matale

A 5K run fundraiser to purchase ten desktop computers for my high school's sister school in Matale, Uganda. As the leader of this event, I delegated roles to more than fifty other students. We raised $3,000 and educated the community on the Ugandan culture.

Senior Prom

An annual event held at our local Maryville Nursing Home. With a board of nineteen other high school students, we hoped to take the elderly back to their youthful days by planning a prom. We handmade boutonnieres and corsages, provided background music, and danced with the seniors.
